About the Project

This project aims to enhance the agricultural productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming families in Samoa, including the most vulnerable households, by providing access to high-quality inputs, practical information, and reliable market pathways. Through these efforts, the project seeks to improve food security, nutrition, and livelihoods while fostering environmentally sustainable practices and strengthening community resilience.

Key Objectives:

  1. Boost Agricultural Productivity and Livelihoods:
    • Facilitate access to finance and high-quality inputs for poultry production, beekeeping, and cocoa processing.
    • Provide training on advanced production techniques to increase yields and improve market access.
  2. Promote Environmental Sustainability:
    • Develop organic seaweed fertilizer enterprises, prioritizing women and youth, to reduce dependence on costly chemical inputs.
    • Implement sustainable practices to mitigate climate change impacts on agricultural production.
  3. Strengthen Community Economies:<
